Surviving the Lockdown
During the 2020 Lockdown, I set about trying to ‘Beat the Boredom’ with a variety of activities (and with varying degrees of success), and in this series of short films I document my attempts.
If you are struggling to beat the boredom, I hope this series will help to inspire some ideas of your own.

Episode 6
In this car themed edition of Surviving the Lockdown, following on from the success of the Radio project, I decide to try my hand at constructing a campervan model.
After all, this shouldn’t be too difficult, all I have to do is make sure I connect the right piece to the right piece, there’s no reason why I can’t have a nice four wheeled model by the end of the show… isn’t there?
It will certainly be quicker than some other stuff I’ve done this week, hanging around on the phone in a queue.
Meanwhile, after six weeks on my drive doing nothing, I decide to give my car a few checks and also revisit a few bits I did earlier in the lockdown.

Episode 3
In this episode, I get all musical and take on the challenge of building a radio (how hard can that be?)
I also find a novel way to keep amused whilst the golf course was still shut, ensuring of course that I have the appropriate attire!
I also discover that I can photograph the moon, but only half my face (one out of two aint bad).
In other words, another completely successful and productive period under lockdown.

Episode 5
In this episode, I realise I have a problem - I've run out of chocolate biscuits (how am I supposed to have afternoon tea without these!)
Having tried to cobble together my own biscuits, I suddenly notice that I don't have a chef's hat either!
Still at least I don't encounter any minor problems whilst filming...or do I.
Having received minor bad news from the bank, I take some time out and chill in the garden with my favourite pair of sunglasses - nothing can happen here.
As per usual, I make my way through the week with the usual spirit of 'make do and mend'.
